Capri Gelato Located on the busy street of Lincoln, you’ll miss this little shop if you aren’t careful. Capri Gelato and Coffee Bar specializes in Gelato from the small island of Capri. They have the most unique flavors like key lime pie or their award-winning passionfruit goat cheese gelato. Flavors change daily so check online or on their Instagram to see what flavors they have. Bacio di Latte- A sweet treat at the mall is always needed after a long day of shopping. Located at the Westfield Century City Mall is Bacio di Latte. It was founded in 2011 by two brothers that studied in Italy how to make the perfect Gelato. The Gelato is freshly made at this shop and is always perfect, creamy, and smooth. What to get? Cauldron specializes in creating ice cream with all-natural and high-quality ingredients using liquid nitrogen. Each order is made on the spot. First, you pick your base, second the topping, and if it’s either going in a cup or cone. What to get? We liked the Sun Moon & Stars which is creamy milk tea ice cream. Look for a place with constant lines but lines do move fast… Handel’s serves up ice cream, sundaes, ice cream pops, milkshakes, and smoothies. What to get? Can’t decide on one flavor? Somisomi- A soft-serve place that specializes in the Korean dessert known as “Ah-Bong” They have the best flavors for their ice cream and their fillings, from your standard chocolate and strawberry soft serve to matcha and ube flavored ice cream. Somisomi serves a cup of ice cream, Taiyaki which is the fish cone with filling, and the Ah bong which is the ice cream, and the Taiyaki. What to get? Wanderlust Creamery- The ice cream place with the most diverse set of flavors in LA. Wanderlust is totally the right name for this place because the flavors are inspired by the owners' travels. Their unique flavors include ube malted crunch, thai tea, or Vietnamese coffee ice cream. Flavor changes monthly so if you do like a flavor we suggest buying a couple of pints. What to get? Van Leeuwen Ice Cream- A New York hot spot that is now on the west coast! Van Leeuwen is known for their ice cream and vegan ice cream flavors.
