1. Eat Texas BBQ- There are so many good BBQ places in texas it is hard to tackle them all in one trip. We tried Terry Black BBQ which is famous for its own style of Central Texas BBQ, Lines are long but you can grab a beer from the window to wait in line. Indoor and Outdoor seating is available. How to order? Fall in line, then when you get to the front, grab a tray, pick your sides, pick your meats, and then enjoy. What to Order? We got a Small Family Pack which comes with 3lbs of meat & 5 pints of sides that serve 5-6 people. We chose three meat the Brisket, sausage, and chopped beef. The beef rib was calling our name so we got one rib to share. The sides were equally as good we got Green Beans, Mac and Cheese, Baked Potato Salad, Mexican Rice, and Cream Corned. Everything was so delicious and plenty for 6 people + 1 baby, we actually had leftovers. They also have a Large Family Pack of 6lbs of meat & 5 Quarts of sides which serve 10-12 people. Logistics? Parking is available in the front lot but it is a small lot. Seating is first-come, first-serve but you can't find a seat until you get your food. Pre Ordering is available an hour before pick up. 2. Watch the Bats at Congress Avenue Bridge- Did you know that Austin is home to one of the largest urban bat colonies? A 1980 bridge renovation turned the Congress Avenue Bridge into an ideal bat cave. Each night from mid-March to early November, these bats come out at night to look for their nightly dinner. This is like a hundred bats it's tens of thousands of bats live under this bridge. The best time to see the bats is around sunset, anywhere from 7:30 to 9:45 pm. We watched and waited for the bats at Statesman Bat Observation Center, a grassy hill under the bridge. What to expect? Get there a little early to find a parking spot and a spot on the hill. Bring a blanket or some chairs to wait for the bats, bring some snacks and refreshments too. Address: 305 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX

You have probably had even seen this place on the Travel Channel’s Man vs Food. What to expect? Juan in Million is open for breakfast and lunch, from 7 am to 3 pm. No reservations are taken at this place and wait times can vary. We waited about 20 minutes for a table for six people. Parking is available in the back of the restaurant. What to order? The famous Don Juan El Taco Grande a combination of potatoes, eggs, bacon, and cheese in a tortilla. You only need one and you will be super full. Or the Con Queso Breakfast Two eggs served any style with queso, carne guisada, refried beans, potatoes, and two flour tortillas. Definitely get these two dishes they were delish and super filling!
